Ron Robertson is the co-founder, CEO and visionary of Picmonic, a consumer internet company currently transforming the learning experience for students around the globe. Ron is at the helm of Picmonic’s mission to lead and inspire a new era of learning through innovative and spectacularly effective educational solutions.
Ron brings to Picmonic
his unique background as both an entrepreneur and a former medical student. In 2011, Ron co-founded Picmonic Inc, and he led the successful launch of the first product less than two years later. Since establishing the company vision, he has been integral in strategic planning and execution, product development, and recruitment of Picmonic's talented team.
Over the last three years, Picmonic has participated in numerous competitions in the Phoenix startup community as an Arizona Innovation Challenge two-time Semi-Finalist (Fall 2012 & Spring 2013), Arizona Innovation Challenge Finalist (Spring 2014), Arizona Tech Council Startup Connect Winner (2013) and a finalist in Venture Madness.
Ron holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of San Diego. After completing his third year at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, he left to pursue his aspiration of changing the face of education for all learners, medical students included. Tens of thousands of students across the world use Picmonic’s revolutionary audiovisual mnemonic methodology, allowing students to master critical information and retain it resulting in substantial improvements of educational outcomes.
