Ron joined Parchment in October 2012 by way of the Avow Systems acquisition and will continue to oversee the Avow by Parchment platform. Ron co-founded Avow Systems in 2006 and as General Manager was instrumental in creating and delivering the education market’s first end-to-end solution for secure electronic document delivery.
Through his
efforts, schools such as the University of Southern California, Penn State University, Stanford University, the University of Chicago, and the University of Colorado have moved much of their paper documents to secure PDF documents. He has helped change the way institutions process official school documents.
Before helping to start Avow in 2006, Ron was Partner Manager at Adobe Systems, Inc. and prior to that, Directory of Business Development at GeoTrust, Inc. He has 20+ years experience in Internet security and authentication solutions. Ron holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Babson College.
