ENBALA is led by Ron Dizy. A veteran of high-growth technology companies and an expert on the evolution of the power system, Ron focuses on the company's overall strategic direction, value and growth.
With his well-respected perspective on the Smart Grid and, more specifically, the role that commercial and industrial electricity customers
can play in the power system, he was recruited to the executive committee of the board for the Ontario Energy Association and the Association for Demand Response and Smart Grid.
Mr. Dizy was also elected chair of the Corporate Partners Committee of the Ontario Smart Grid Forum and is the chair of the Intelligent Load Management (ILM) Task Force in Ontario. Mr. Dizy has been invited by many industry leaders to share his vision at various events and conferences such as the National Town Meeting on DR & Smart Grid, the MaRs Cleantech Forum and the Smart Grid Canada Conference.
Mr. Dizy’s vision is to modernize the grid through intelligent load management, which can support a reliable and balanced grid, improving generator efficiency and reliably integrating intermittent renewable resources. He holds a BASc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.
