Roel is a seasoned technology executive with deep experience in driving product strategy and engineering for high tech companies. Roel was previously VP of Product Management at Oracle, where he was responsible for a broad range of technologies including portal, web content management, enterprise social networking and enterprise file sharing. He
expanded this business through strategic acquisitions in social marketing and content management and defined the first set of Oracle’s cloud products. Prior to Badgeville, he ventured into running a mobile gaming startup and built his own mobile apps. Roel holds a Computer Science MS degree from the University of Eindhoven, Netherlands.
