Rod White is an associate professor at Ivey Business School, a provider of degree programs and executive development with campuses in London, Toronto, and Hong Kong. Prior to that, he served as the associate dean for faculty development and research at the same institute from 2009 to 2014. He has also served as a board member of Sandvik Canada,
Biotron Advisory Board, and Strategic Management Journal.
White’s research interests include the functioning of top management teams and questions of business strategy organization. Currently, he is exploring how evolutionary forces affect interesting business behaviors. He recently received the Academy of Management Review Decade Award for the article, An Organizational Learning Framework: From Intuition to Institutions.
White obtained his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Western Ontario in 1974. He also holds a master’s degree and doctorate in business from Harvard Business School.
