Rod Shegem is an executive professional with over a decade of leadership experience. He is well-versed in management, marketing strategy, negotiation, and team-building. His most notable achievements lie within the automotive industry.

From a young age, Rod was an avid fan of Formula One racing, which inspired him to try out go-kart racing.

Rod's passion for racing and motorsports drove him to seek out professional opportunities in the industry as he became of age. After starting out as a mechanic, he eventually became a Research and Development Manager at Saleen. He served as Director of Production until 2010.

Rod Shegem also served as Chief Racing Director at Dime Racing, an Irvine, California-based organization which specializes in automotive research and development. Under Rod’s strategic leadership for years, Dime Racing grew and thrived as a business; Rod even headed up the organization’s expansion into the motorsports scene with an all-new in-house program.

Rod’s combined experience with management, marketing strategy, negotiation, and team-building, in conjunction with his industry expertise, has led him to find success in the automotive field. The true indicator of personal and professional success for Rod, though, is the ability to continue to stay innovative and never settle. In every step of his career, Rod Shegem has made it a point to develop great teams who can trust one another and serve as inspiration for each other.

As someone who built his own career path from the ground up, Rod knows how unnerving it can seem to chase your dreams. He emphasizes the importance of discovering your own way in your field; if you can find some kind of position in your field while going to school, you can gain the most hands-on experience while simultaneously building your network.

Currently residing in Huntington Beach, California, Rod Shegem gets outdoors as frequently as he can, most often hiking with his dog or kayaking.
