Robin Blackburn is the VP of Global Digital Marketing at Becton. She has over 28 years of executive experience within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Before working at Becton she held numerous leadership positions at Merck, including spearheading the digital and analytics strategy for Merck Europe and Canada.
Robin has spent the
entirety of her career supporting the improvement of human health. With the disruption of technology in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, she recognizes the immense opportunities technological advances present to improve diagnoses and the treatment of diseases.
In the two years she was the Digital Accelerator at Merck, Robin Blackburn led her team by inspiring strategic opportunities and improving patient outcomes. They accomplished transformation impact by integrating digital capabilities and advanced analytics into the operating model for prioritized markets.
Robin holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern Kellogg School of Business and a B.S. from Oklahoma State University. In her free time, she enjoys running competitively and has completed 5 of the Abbott World Major Marathons.
