Prior to his retirement from TECK Corporation in 1999, Mr. Young held the title of Vice-President, Special Projects and South American Exploration. Prior to working with TECK, Mr. Young held several positions of advancing responsibility
with Placer Development Corporation during a 32 year career, culminating as Field Manager of International Exploration.
