Robert Jansen joined Virdia as a consultant in 2008.
Previously, Mr. Jansen served as director of sweetener engineering for A.E. Staley Manufacturing.
Mr. Jensen also served as vice president of operations for Tate & Lyle, PLC, where he led operations of major corn milling plants.
Mr. Jansen also served as the group technical vice
president at Tate & Lyle, managing technical development and operational plants globally. He mentored the research and technology group where he developed patent applications related to biomass combustion processes. Mr.
Jansen holds 11 patents and several patent applications for Virdia, and has authored numerous technical articles.
He has a B.S. in chemical engineering, cum laude, from the University of Missouri, Rolla.
