As a Computer Engineering graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada, Robert Lamarre has 28 years of experience in the IT sector. Prior to joining Alithya, he spent much of his career at CGI, where he rose through the ranks to hold a number of management positions. He delivered projects in both languages across Canada and the United States.
Mr. Lamarre is results oriented and has a passion for problem-solving and coming up with solutions when time is of the essence. With a strong aversion to the status quo, he pushes ahead with his projects to achieve their objectives. His decision-making skills and his high level of involvement with work teams translate to a leadership based on attentiveness and an understanding of those he works with. His role at Alithya is to ensure a steady flow of new hires to meet clients requirements. His keen interest in amateur sports has led him to chair the Board of Directors for Baseball Richelieu-Yamaska, a not-for-profit that supports youth athletic development. Mr. Lamarre has been Senior Vice President, Hiring Solutions, since April 2016.
