Rob is Co-President of Vestar and a Founding Partner of the Firm. From 2000 to 2011, he was based in Paris and served as President of Vestar Europe. Rob also Heads the Firm’s Diversified Industries and Financial Services Sectors.
He is Chairman of Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. and a director of Triton Container International Limited,
21st Century Oncology, and Tervita Corporation.
Rob was previously a member of the Management Buyout Group of The First Boston Corporation, where he worked with other members of Vestar’s founding team before leaving in 1988 to launch Vestar Capital Partners. He holds an MBA, with distinction, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Trinity College.
Rob is a member of the Graduate Executive Board of The Wharton School and the Board of Trustees of The Lawrenceville School, where he serves as Chairman of the Finance Committee.
