Richard Weeks is the Technical Director at Pure Imagination Studios.
Before founding Pop-Base, Richard has worked in the games industry for over 23 years. Starting work on the first wave of CD titles for Psygnosis and Sony, he moved onto writing game engines for companies like Stormfront and LucasArts. Moving into contracting he spent seven years
working with multiple clients to research solutions and support technology. These included Viva Pinata PC (Climax / Microsoft), Overlord DS (Climax / Codemasters), Xbox Kinect launch title Get Fit with Mel B, and popular indie series Bit Trip. He co-founded Total Monkery where he acted as Technical Director creating original games and IP as well as providing client services in the gaming, training and VR fields.
