Riasat is the CEO of TaskCall, an incident response and management system for IT and DevOps. He founded TaskCall in 2020 and has since led the company to its global expansion in 61 countries. His work in building TaskCall from the ground up makes him a veteran in the incident response and management space as is evident in rapid growth of the
platform.
His first experience in the space comes from his work as an execution trader at a quantitative hedge fund in New York. It is famously known that he started TaskCall because the application his team was using at the time for managing incidents failed to handle a scenario that he had to deal with all the time.
Prior to TaskCall, Riasat also co-founded an invoice financing platform in Kenya which finances in agriculture to reduce crop wastage at the farm level. Riasat holds a B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics and Economics from St. Lawrence University.
