She handled in various roles as Director of PR and Operations, Management, Project Manager, Sign language Interpreter and Trainer. She worked there as an Indian Sign
Language Co-ordinator at Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of the Hearing Handicapped (NIHH). Subsequently, she joined the Deaf Way Foundation in 2003 and she has been taking on the multiple functions of Program Coordinator, Public Relations Officer and Facilitators for the training plan. Ramya Miryala is also Director of Talking Hands Restaurant and Talking Hands Café in Hyderabad. She has been actively involved in several national level interventions and group discussions on topics concerning the Deaf community and interpreting at Courts, Government Officials. She also teaches Sign Language to the Film Celebrity and Corporate Houses.
