Scott Abel is a partner of BlueRock Energy Capital. Prior to joining BlueRock, he spent 4 years in energy finance with Domain Energy and Range Resources. Scott has over 25 years of technical experience in the petroleum industry. He has a very broad level of experience covering all phases of oil and gas operations, which include drilling and
production operations as well as reservoir engineering, budgeting and economic analysis. His talents and experience also include extensive state regulatory knowledge, ad valorem tax evaluations and procedures, and management of contract operated properties. Scott is a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M University and is a registered professional engineer.
