Mr. Linder is the Treasurer & Chairman of the Finance Committee in the Board of Directors Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern PA and a member of the Board of Directors of the Penn State Research Foundation. He is Chairman Emeritus of the Mid-Atlantic Angel Group Fund, a member managed angel fund that makes investments in start-up
companies. For many years he was also Chairman of LORE, one of the oldest angel investment groups in the country.
Mr. Linder is former Chairman of the Board of the Angel Capital Education Foundation., a member of the Board of Directors of Molecular Detection, Inc., and
a member of the Valuation Committee of Edison Venture Fund.
Mr. Linder recently retired as a member of the faculty and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Muhlenberg College. He also served for 10 years on the Board of Trustees of The Jackson Laboratory, a genetics research and resources institution.
Mr. Linder was President of ETHIX, a managed care company operating HMOs and PPOs in 13 states. He founded the company in 1984 and grew the health plan membership to over 500,000 with revenues of $50,000,000. In 1994 the company was acquired by New York Life. Mr. Linder also founded American Interactive, a company specializing in hospital laboratory data processing systems.
He was formerly Chairman of the Delaware County Hospital Authority,
Earlier in his career he held sales and marketing positions at Burroughs Corporation.
Mr. Linder received a BSEE from Penn State in 1961, and an MS in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1964. He resides with his family in Malvern, PA.
