Harry Potter inspired my senior quote: "you sort of start thinking anything is possible if you've got enough nerve." Like Harry Potter, I've often been accused of living in a fantasy world, imagining and pursuing ideas that couldn't and shouldn't be possible.
However, having a lot of "nerve" isn't
such a bad thing. Big ideas feed off of it. In the face of setbacks, it has helped me stay calm under pressure and think outside the box. If you always expect a bumpy ride, then nothing can go wrong and this constant pursuit of challenges has fed my love for entrepreneurship.
Today, as a small business owner, I take crazy ideas and figure out ways to make them possible. In the face of rejection, I like to think of myself as a bulldozer. Give me an idea and an obstacle, and after some hard work, I'll give you a destination.
