Orey Gilliam is the CEO of BIScience.
Orey Gilliam has over 27 years of experience in strategic and operations management in a variety of business environments, from start-up to Fortune 50 companies, in the Internet, telecommunications, and software fields. Oreyâ€™s previous positions include Head of AOL Messaging (AIM) and CEO of ICQ (an online media company owned by AOL) with an overall reach of 75 million unique users worldwide. Orey was the only AOL Executive that managed a US-focused business while not living in the US (he lives in Israel). Orey spearheaded a corporate turnaround in ICQ, bringing the company to profitability and managing its transition to a media communication business that is constantly growing in product offerings, user base, and financial parameters. ICQ was recently sold to DST for $187.5 million dollars.
Orey has also held key positions at Gilat Satellite Networks, GE Spacenet, and StarBand Communications. He graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, in 1985.
