Starting his career as an officer in the IDF where he gained managerial experience and an intense on-the-job training in crisis management, Omer went on to co-found in 2001 one of the world's first video-centric social networks, The People's Network (Vancouver, BC). After graduating from Tel Aviv University in 2005 (double major in
business and philosophy) Omer went on to work as a management consultant at a prominent Israeli firm. FS, travel, transport and tech are some of the industries he worked with. In 2009 Omer went back to the tech world to found Touchoo - a digital publishing platform for interactive children's tablet/ smartphone apps, where he was the CEO until 2014. At the end of 2014 Omer took the helm at Twitter Counter.
