An accomplished entrepreneur, Nikos Hecht is the founding partner of Aspen Partners, which he guided to become one of the world’s largest hedge funds over the course of nearly 15 years. Nikos Hecht developed new strategies centered on investment in firms facing bankruptcy and restructuring processes. He has also partnered with his father, Andrew,
in the ownership and management of world-class commercial properties in the Aspen, Colorado, area.
Nikos Hecht maintains a strong community presence, as well, and makes contributions to organizations such as the Aspen Art Museum, the Wounded Warrior Project, and Katy at the Bat. He also supports Thanks to Scandinavia, which focuses on graduate school scholarships for Scandinavian and Bulgarian students. Having achieved top ranking in men’s varsity tennis while studying at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, his efforts have helped fund the Hecht Tennis Center.
In both his professional and personal life, Mr. Hecht has taken great inspiration from his grandfather, a tennis world champion who was able to escape the Holocaust and build a new life in the United States.
