Still life photographer and director Niklas Alm started exploring the world of photography as a kid in his parents darkroom. After a sidestep into journalism he found his way back to his childhood experiments pursuing his career as a photographer. Since 2001 his graphic, yet playful style has been frequent in both editorials and advertising
campaigns for clients such as Absolut Vodka, Adidas, Amnesty, Electrolux, LG, Net A Porter, Samsung, Swatch, DV Magazine, Plaza Magazine and DLTD Scenes.
His lust for visually striking images and passion for creating interesting sets has also led him into exploring more personal work. This has in later years resulted in more commercial work in the fields of creating concepts and creative direction. It's common that his clients bring him in at an early stage to develop the visuals of an idea or to create the concept from scratch. The subject of his still life or video does not really matter. Whether its fashion accessories, food, drinks or luxury watches he always manage to give them his signature style. When not shooting for a client you will find him in his studio experimenting with light.
