Nicole Chipi joined Knight Foundation in April 2013. As an Arts Program Associate she supports the Vice President/Arts in reviewing and administering Knight's arts grants.
Before joining Knight, Nicole worked for the Friends of the Miami-Dade Public Library advocating on behalf of the library system and managing all fundraising
initiatives. Prior to engaging in non-profit work, she was a photographer and columnist for a music and culture publication, traveling to and documenting concerts and music festivals around the country. More recently, she was the Marketing and Promotions manager for The Vagabond, a local music and night-life venue.
She studied creative photography at the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University.
Nicole is a Miami native who continues to experiment with the photographic medium and remains involved in event production in the Miami music and arts scene.
