Nick leads Telrad’s strategy for products and systems engineering globally. For the past 18 years, Nick has been a wireless engineer with experience in licensed and unlicensed spectrum, and both mobile and fixed architectures. In 2001 Nick was a member of the Ericsson radio access network team responsible for the first 2G GPRS (GSM) packet data
transfer in Canada. Nick then spent 10 years deploying and optimizing national cellular networks on both CDMA and TDMA 2/2.5G technology with a tier 1 mobile operator. In 2011, Nick led the first TD-LTE pilot in Canada for both 2.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz and has worked on hundreds of networks since. Nick then continued to lead Telrad systems engineering for what became the largest fixed wireless network in North America using WiMAX 3G technology. In 2014 Nick led the introduction of 4G TD-LTE into the Fixed Wireless Access Industry.
Nick and the Telrad team, continue to help customers avoid long term business pitfalls impacting decisions typical of the more complex carrier grade technology.
