Nicholas Warren joined CSB group in August 2018 bringing on board over 16 years of consultancy experience to international clients on the various possibilities presented by Malta as a Financial Services Centre.
Before joining CSB Nicholas held roles with big 4 Audit firms, mainly in the funds and banking audit departments. His passion for
financial services started in his role as manager with the Malta Financial Services Authority, focusing on Professional Investor Funds, UCITS Schemes and Investment Services Licence Holders (MiFID) followed by management positions at two large fund management companies. Nicholas continued to expand his horizons when he joined local leading local law firms whereby he specialised in the fields of banking, payment services and financial institutions, capital markets as well as blockchain.
In the field of blockchain he provides clients with guidance on Malta’s legislative frameworks in the field of Initial Coin Offerings, Crypto Exchanges as well as to those companies who wish to establish a presence and provide technology related services to such entities. Nicholas enjoys working in close collaboration with the authorities, regulators and fellow colleagues and collaborators in order to give clients the solution which they need.
Nicholas has read for a Masters in Strategic Planning following a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) Honours focused in Banking & Finance from the University of Malta. He is ACCA qualified and holds a Certificate in Islamic Finance.
