Ned Harding is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Alteryx, a leading developer and a pioneer of geographic business intelligence technology. In this role, Harding is responsible for developing technologies that optimize the speed and overall performance of large databases while maximizing data compression.
Prior to joining Alteryx,
Harding was a senior software engineer at Qualitative Marketing Software, Inc. (QMSoft), a developer and manufacturer of database and turnkey direct marketing solutions, where he was the lead developer of several industry-leading products, including GeoStan and InfoStan. QMS was acquired by Group 1 Software, which was later acquired by Sagent Technology. Sagent itself was acquired by Pitney Bowes in 1999.
Harding attended Simon's Rock of Bard College in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, a landmark in the early college movement, and the nation's only college of liberal arts and sciences specifically designed for students of high school age.
