Nathaniel Collins has been in the civil service since 2006. He is a qualified management accountant (CIMA) and graduate of the Cabinet Office Faststream Programme.
He has gained experience across a wide range of high profile government policy areas, including immigration, the National Identity Scheme, constitutional affairs, the social mobility
strategy, and the Royal Mail. Complementing this policy experience, Nathaniel has also worked in a front line operational capacity, leading a team of 37 civil servants responsible for delivering services direct to the public, as well as developing corporate services experience, coordinating public finances and commercial contracts for the Department of Business Innovation and Skills.
Nathaniel’s role as Regional Director for UKTI Education to set the strategic direction and team management for the operational delivery of education services in Africa, Gulf and the Middle East, South Asia and China.
Alongside his CIMA qualification, Nathaniel has a BSc in History and Philosophy of Science from University College London, and a MA in Intelligence and International Security from Kings College London.
