Mustafa Şimşek is an e-mobility and battery systems leader who has worked exclusively in electric vehicle, battery and energy storage technologies since 2008. Over the course of his career, he has built deep experience across EV platforms, battery systems, and their core sub-systems, with work spanning Türkiye, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
He has
led large engineering teams and complex product development programs, taking systems from early concept stages through validation, industrialization, and production readiness.
Most recently, Mustafa held senior R&D leadership roles at VinFast/VinES, where he led multi-site engineering teams and was responsible for the development of automotive battery packs, BMS platforms, and stationary energy storage systems.
Before that, he spent nearly a decade at TOFAŞ/Stellantis, contributing to some of Türkiye’s early electrification programs across vehicle architecture, powertrain integration, embedded control systems, and battery-related technologies.
He is also the Founder and Principal Consultant of eMOBINO, where he provides independent advisory and engineering support in electric mobility, battery systems, and energy storage. His background combines hands-on technical depth with leadership experience in high-voltage systems, battery pack development, compliance, EV integration, and industrialization.
