Michael Silverman is managing director and founder of Samantha Brands Group with a focus on general management, portfolio management, deal construction, and finance. Michael is a lifelong investor and entrepreneur. He grew up in California and has worked in a family office investment environment throughout his career. He attended the University of
Southern California where he received his BA in Philosophy and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law where he received his Juris Doctor; he is a current member of the Colorado Bar.
Michael is also co-founder of Silverback Holdings, a family office investment company which he co-founded with his younger sister, Samantha. Michael’s investment activities span multiple industries including technology, retail, real estate, and consumer brands. He also hosts a podcast called “What Didn’t Kill You?”.
In his free time Michael loves skiing, hiking, Crossfit, and traveling.
