Michael Pierce is a Los Angeles-based investor and entrepreneur whose career bridges entertainment, real estate, and technology. As Co-Founder of Pierce Williams Entertainment and Zero Gravity Management, he produced and financed 10 feature films, grossing over $200 million, with titles like The Cooler (Oscar-nominated, starring William H. Macy)
and Running Scared with Paul Walker.
Beginning in Canadian oil & gas and real estate, Michael transitioned to public equities in the late 2000s. His success in technology stocks led him into venture capital, and in 2011, he co-founded WPSChallenger in London, which acquired assets, including Beyond Gaming and the Virgin Formula One team. In 2014, he launched Digi Ventures, backing early-stage tech founders in companies like Cargomatic, Prevoty (acquired by Imperva),Hello Giggles (acquired by Time Inc.) and Thrive Market. His entrepreneurial background gives him a distinctive perspective on identifying talented, visionary founders who can disrupt industries.
Most recently, in 2023, he founded American Gun Owners (AGO), modernizing the firearm industry with a comprehensive platform for first-time gun owners that provides them with expert guidance, subscriptions, and a modern alternative to outdated market options.
Michael holds a BA in International Relations from The University of Western Ontario and an LLB from University College London, and lives in Los Angeles with his family, continually pushing boundaries in venture capital and media.
