Michael founded Atlona in 2003 along with his brother, Ilya Khayn. As VP of engineering and product development, Michael is the “solutions” in Atlona’s solutions-based product design and development. Michael makes sure Atlona has the conversations that result in products for installers’ and integrators’ exact needs. Michael was absorbed with
electronics beginning in high school in Russia, and as a teen had his own company repairing super computers, boat satellite equipment, and oscilloscopes. He gained retail electronics expertise at Frys and Sears. Michael once built the largest loudspeaker in the entire universe.
