Michael Bash started his career in the real estate and land development arena over 55 years ago. As a young engineer he had an understanding of how things worked and fit together. After borrowing $30,000 from a friend of his father for his first real estate deal he was hooked. That loan paid off well for Michael and a few years later before
Michael’s 32nd birthday he was a millionaire. Over the years Bash has bought, developed and sold millions of square feet of commercial and residential property such as neighborhood shopping centers, industrial parks, single family homes and condominiums.
Mr. Bash’s interest in real estate began early and for the next 55 years as a real estate developer and builder, he was responsible for major planning and zoning projects, building and developing several shopping centers, hundreds of homes, office buildings, water and sewer systems, and nearly 6,000 apartments units and condos throughout New York State. He built the Laniado Hotel in Netanya, Israel and is proud to be one of the founders and contributors to the Jerusalem Great Synagogue (the largest in Israel.)
Mr. Bash always found time to be actively involved in charity work and politics, serving as Financial Advisor to then President Jimmy Carter as part of the Democratic National Finance Committee and later serving as advisor to U.S. President George Bush Senior. He financed several telethons for the St. Jude Children’s Hospital which raised several million dollars annually to cover critical medical procedures for hundreds of children throughout his involvement with the organization.
In 1994, Mr. Bash saw tremendous development opportunity in Las Vegas. Excited about the city’s growth potential, he began to acquire and develop commercial land, residential projects and commercial retail centers. Decades of experience and strategic partnerships allowed him to avoid any major losses during the swings in the market over the past twenty years.
Michael’s second passion is writing. He has written several books on the topic of investment, history, and the bible. He enjoys promoting his ideas and is often asked to share them as a guest and commentator on CNN, FOX and other nationally syndicated TV programs. His latest book is “Evolution by God.” As President of Cambridge Companies Michael brings to the team his vision and instills the core values which guide the company and its employees to succeed and maintain the highest level of integrity and accountability to all stake holders.“I feel that the time is right for Las Vegas based real estate investment. Visitors to Las Vegas have dramatically increased and this increase will continue to grow.
