Matthias Henze is a Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Jimdo. Matthias studied Business Administration in Kiel and Gothenburg before founding Jimdo together with Fridtjof Detzner and Christian Springub.
The three of them moved into an old farmhouse owned by Fridtjof’s parents to found their first company in 2004, followed by Jimdo in 2007.
Matthias is mainly taking care of Jimdo’s marketing activities and it’s international teams since Jimdo is fully localized in 9 languages. Matthias is focused on building a forward thinking and sustainable company and believes that transparency, communication, flexibility and fun help to provide the stability necessary to deal with big changes.
