Marty Moe serves as Senior Vice President of AOLâ€™s MediaGlow publishing division, responsible for the overall operation and strategic direction of MediaGlowâ€™s properties in the News, Sports, Finance, Technology, and Childrenâ€™s categories. Marty also oversees Weblogs, Inc., the largest network of professional blogs in the U.S. (including such properties as Engadget, Autoblog, Joystiq, The Unofficial Apple Weblog, WoWInsider and others), and Sphere, the largest provider of related content services to publishers on the internet. Under Marty's direction, these properties collectively reach over 40 million monthly unique users.
Prior to joining AOL in 2001, Marty served as Deputy Chief of Staff at the United States Department of the Treasury, where he advised Secretary Lawrence Summers on range of policy, management and political matters and oversaw departmental review and analysis of major issues. He also practiced corporate law for over 4 years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and served as a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Marty earned a B.A. from Oberlin College and graduated Magna Cum Laude from New York University School of Law.
