Mark Skeen works as the VP of Life Safety and Compliance at Qolsys, a Silicon Valley start-up that provides a highly technologically advanced security system for your home. As the co-founder of the company, Mark brings decades of practical experience to his role. Mark Skeen has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, so when he was approached with
the opportunity, he knew this was the next step in which he would take his career. In his role as the VP of Life Safety and Compliance, Mark has brought his vast experience of leadership and knowledge of personal and home security, and continues to successfully build Qolsys into a viable and profitable startup.
The goal of Qolsys is to improve the quality of life through innovation and technology. The company seeks to improve efficiency and safety in through home security systems that integrates through all of today’s technology.
In his previous positions, Mark, as the elected chairman of his organization’s board, managed the company's assets from a deficit of under $1 billion to over $2.7 billion, more than doubling the organization’s holdings and making it the top performing organization in its field. In this position, Mark led a team that included about twenty five money managers, four thousand plan members, two real estate managers, and over five consultants.
A man of many roles, Mark enjoys stepping into the entrepreneur spotlight and testing out his skills in the tech industry.
