Mark McAndrews is a founding Principal.He has over 25 years of financial management experience. His focus is network infrastructure, software platforms, applications, gateways and tools, terminals and components. Mark serves on the Board of Directors of Bytemobile and is also the chairman of its audit committee and a member of its compensation and
CEO search committees.
Prior to the founding of Ericsson Venture Partners in 2001, Mark was the Chief Operating Officer of the Global Investment Banking Division at Merrill Lynch. During his career at Merrill Lynch, he also served as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the division. During his tenure the division employed over 3,000 employees and generated $4 billion in revenue. From 1998 to 2001, Mark was President of Merrill Lynch Capital Partners, where he oversaw the management of two private equity funds totaling $700 million. He also served on the Investment Committee of Merrill Lynch's Technology Venture Capital Fund where he a member of a team of several investment professionals who achieved a 8.1x realized return.
Mark began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. in New York from 1976 to 1980.He worked for Standard & Poor's Inc. from 1980 to 1985. Mark received a BA in Economics from Yale University in 1976 and a Masters in Accounting and Finance from NYU in 1980.
