Mark Board was appointed Vice President – Technology & Innovation in the corporate office in Idaho in June 2014. Prior to that, Mr. Board was Corporate Director, Geotechnical Engineering from June 2012 to May 2014. Prior to his employment with Hecla, he worked at Itasca Consulting Group for 25 years as a mining and rock mechanics consultant to
mining companies worldwide. Mr. Board is a member of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) and has over 35 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
