Marc Duey, M.Sc. M.B.A is a Founder of ProMetrics, Inc. and serves as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Marc Duey has over two decades of experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology fields. Marc Duey contributes to ProMetrics' market studies practice, which provides market research, strategic planning and database services for
health care manufacturing and service companies. Under his direction, it has serviced over 100 clients and managed over 5,000 projects. Prior to co-founding ProMetrics fourteen years ago, Marc Duey was founder and President of DuWest Research, an international management consulting firm that specialized in serving the needs of diagnostic and biotechnology firms. Proprietary activities included market research, technology assessments, investment analysis, venture planning, business development assistance, and feasibility studies. He was responsible for publishing syndicated multi-client surveys on a worldwide basis from offices and correspondents on three continents. His activities included presenting recommendations to the top executives of client companies, ranging from small biotechnology start-ups to large multi-national healthcare concerns and pharmaceutical companies. Before founding DuWest Research, he served as President of Robert S. First, Inc. and was responsible for all activities of the leading international management consulting firm. He published marketing handbooks, promoted conferences and managed multi-client and proprietary single-client studies, including market evaluations, strategic planning assignments, and acquisition surveys. Marc Duey is a member of numerous trade and industry associations and sits on the Board of Directors of several technology companies. He is an adjunct professor at the business school (MBA) as well as an adjunct professor for the Pharmaceutical Product Development program at West Chester University. Marc Duey received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors and a Master of Science degree specializing in toxicology from the University of Ottawa, Canada. In addition, while a recipient of the Eaton Foundation Fellowship, he earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. Marc Duey spent one year at the University of Liege, Belgium as a Fellow in International Business.
