Before founding Silvertree Internet Holdings, Manuel co-founded Zando in South Africa, and served as co-CEO; and co-founded Jumia in Nigeria. Before relocating to South Africa Manuel worked as a Vice President for Corporate Development and Investments in Frankfurt for the Altira Group, focusing on African, renewable and German mid-cap investments.
