Lisa Queen has over two and a half decades of design experience, Lisa brings a diverse viewpoint to her projects balancing the pragmatic with the aesthetic, making the home or office as functional as it is beautiful.
Lisa’s talent and experience as an active designer and her combined and diverse business background make her a unique force in
adding perspective to business practices for professionals in the design industry. Lisa has been consulting to various firms and entrepreneurs in the industry since 2003. Lisa’s approach to design services is to bring her client’s dreams to fruition by putting a vision before them and making it theirs. She believes in leading the client towards a design but making the design, in the end, about the lifestyle and personality that is a reflection of the families and individuals she is so blessed to call her clients.
She has been passionate about design as long as she can remember. This passion was sidelined for a time when she graduated from Purdue University as a commercial pilot and flew professionally for 11 years. Integrated with this unusual responsibility, she also worked in the design industry and found a way to reintroduce her original passion for design into a career that began in 1984. What soon followed was a combination career of flying and designing office expansions, strip center facilities and a chain of wellness centers.
She left her roots in the Midwest and permanently settled in California in 2000, quickly taking on a position with a design firm in Los Angeles where she lead and managed 63 projects in a three year period ranging from residential remodels and new ground up construction to redesign of small city and community commercial buildings. Lisa returned to school at UCLA and soon after received her designation as Certified Interior Designer in the state of California as well as her LEED accreditation to her credentials.
