Dr. Knut Hartmann leads the team of highly skilled EOMAP staff delivering geospatial data services. He has the interdisciplinary education and relevant work experience to support clients’ geospatial demands across a range of industries. Prior to joining EOMAP in 2011, he worked in the geo-information section of one of Germany’s largest
environmental engineering consultancies, as well as the German Federal Research Center for Cultivated Plants and John Deere. He has an extensive background in developing and applying innovative remote sensing and geospatial solutions for agricultural, marine and environmental mapping applications. Mr. Hartmann has received academic awards for excellence as well as the EU Copernicus Masters 2013 award.
