Khalil Halilu is one of the young Nigerian techpreneurs to watch out for. At 29 years of age, he has already carved his name in the annals of the African technological history as the founder of key solution providing platforms including OyaOya Strategic Services, ShapShap Technologies Ltd. He is the chairman of Centre for Citizens Welfare and
Community Development (CWCD) – a non-profit organization that promotes peace, security and development through the use of technology. In 2019, he set up the first ever technological hub that is already a meeting place for tech and nature lovers. He has served on the board of high profile organizations including Africa Infotech Consultancy and worked in managerial positions in others like Gongoni Company Limited in 2010. He is known for building the ‘Zabe’ election monitoring application in Nigeria. Zabe has the capability to provide feedback on election process from observers and was used in the 2019 general elections in Nigeria. Khalil derives inspiration from quality conversations with his rich network of friends and associates which come from different backgrounds. A day in Khalil’s life consists of 72 hours of strategic meetings/discussions and brainstorming sessions. When he takes a breather from work, Khalil likes to experience different cultures of the world, listen to rap music, play golf and polo and he is known to be an avid horse lover.
