Kevin Collier has worked in the construction industry for 15 years, including hands-on experience as a carpenter, superintendent, project manager and estimator.
Kevin has been involved in property loss consulting for 10 years.
He has consulted throughout the United States and in Mexico on projects ranging from single family homes to $71
million commercial property losses.
Prior to joining JS Held in 2016, Kevin was part of the founding team at Wakelee Associates. At Wakelee, Kevin was a construction estimator and property loss consultant, focusing on complex projects, large commercial and high-net-worth residential losses.
Prior to Wakelee, Kevin worked at Woods Restoration Services as a construction estimator and project manager. He was a member of the national CAT team and participated in every major disaster since 2005.
Kevin offers a detail oriented approach to quantity surveying, cost estimating, and building valuation. His hands on experience in all facets of construction make him uniquely competent at cost estimating, damage evaluation, scheduling and critical path analysis.
He has acted as an appraiser and umpire on many cases.
Kevin has a BA from the University of Virginia, where he studied technical theatre and was a member of the wrestling team.
