Trained in economics, statistics and philosophy, Kelly started her career in the pharmaceutical industry in the field of health economics and outcomes research, moving to product management for an innovative early web-based disease management start-up funded within Glaxo. From there she spent a number of years in strategy consulting for Arkwright plc in the UK, focused on international growth and internet strategies for global multi-national companies.
