Katy has twenty years of experience as a successful business executive and entrepreneur beginning as an account executive selling directly to Fortune 500 accounts and managed regional authorized computer distributorships for Compaq Computer Corporation.
Having launched several high profile Internet business-to-business enterprise ventures, Katy
organized a chain of travel agencies, which she sold to the World Wrestling Federation “WWF”.
She was the executive producer for a documentary film with its world premiere headlining at SXSW and the principal developer for a turnkey National Public Radio Station “NPR” that was sold to Marfa Public Radio.
From 2009 to 2012, Katy served as a Director of Corporate Relations and Commercialization for the College of Natural Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin.
Katy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas.
