Karen is a member of the executive team at Empyrean and reports to the CEO, Richard Wolf. Ms. Bailey is responsible for compliance support to Empyrean’s operations and administrative services to clients, helping to ensure compliance with the legal landscape governing health and welfare benefit plans. She also provides consulting services to clients
on health and welfare plan compliance matters.
Ms. Bailey holds a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, class of 1989. While there, she made the prestigious Law Review, serving as a Notes Editor for two years. She also received the American Jurisprudence Award for Research, Analysis and Writing for her class. Ms. Bailey completed her undergraduate studies in 1984 at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
