Jud Morrison was a Director of Portfolio Operations at TPG Capital, based in Houston. Jud leads operational due diligence on new investment opportunities and partners with management to drive value creation in TPG’s portfolio companies, primarily in the industrial and energy sectors. Jud re-joined the firm in 2015, having previously served in the
Field Operations group from 2008-2011. Outside TPG, his experience includes roles as Senior Vice President, Operations and Products, for Valerus Compression, management consultant at McKinsey & Company, and reservoir and facilities engineer with ExxonMobil. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Nox Corporation. Jud received bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and Plan II Liberal Arts Honors at the University of Texas and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
