Jonathan graduated from Strathclyde University with MEng Mechanical Engineering and joined the company in 2007 as a design engineer, progressing to principal structural and mechanical engineer before taking up the CTO role in June 2013. He is now responsible for the technical development of the tidal turbine project, including planning, engineering
integration, and management of the technical team.
Jonathan has extensive experience and proficiency in Computer Aided Design (CAD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and other numerical modelling tools as well as developing SRTP's dynamic rotor analysis package, jFAST.
