Jonathan Eastgate is simPRO Group Chief Technology Officer reporting to the CEO.
As Chief Technology Officer Jonathan oversees simPRO's software development teams (including web and mobile) along with the IT and Infrastructure team that, plan, deploy and maintain both our internal IT infrastructure and Global Data centers.
Since joining
simPRO Jonathan has been instrumental in evolving simPRO's suite of product to meet the needs of a quickly expanding client - with a focus on the deployment of a large scale cloud network to service clients globally.
Jonathan's team has also been responsible for delivery of simPROs software into corporate clients. Recent projects have included large scale deployments of simPRO software and infrastructure in to corporate clients such as Woolworths and Energy Australia.
Jonathan joined the team in April 2011 after serving as the General Manager for a Manufacturing company, XO. In that role Jonathan was responsible for the operations of the company across Australia and New Zealand and was directly involved in the development and deployment of business and machine systems that saw XO develop world class lean manufacturing processes, delivery time frames and fault rectification. Jonathan reported directly to the board of directors of XO's parent company in Europe. During this time Jonathan was also instrumental in providing assistance to other companies within Asia Pacific through his sessions with QMI Solutions - aimed at assisting manufacturing to make the move to more automated, streamlined manufacturing processes.
Prior to that Jonathan gained his experience working with a number of well established public and private IT companies including Jumbo Corporation, BMW and Mincom. In these roles he was charged with deploying and maintaining their global infrastructure and to achieve their IT strategies. Jonathan also co-founded and built the first ISP in Mackay QLD and went on to sell that company to TPG.
