Mr. Wenger worked for Ernst & Young LLP Chartered Accountants from 2001 to 2011, where he acquired considerable experience in financial reporting for both Canadian and U.S. publicly listed companies, primarily in the mining industry. As a manager within the assurance practice of Ernst & Young, Mr.Wenger is well versed in the requirements of
complex regulatory environments, and the requirements of Canadian GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards. His responsibilities included implementing and testing internal controls, conducting IFRS conversion advisory services, and leading the audits of numerous publicly-listed multinational mining companies. Mr. Wenger has been a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia since 2006.
