John Reardon is a Managing Director with Trident Capital focusing on Health Care IT and Service companies. John serves on the Board of Directors of Advanced ICU Care, HealthMEDX, PeriGen, and TelaDoc Inc.. In addition, John is a member of the Innovation Advisory Board at the Cleveland Clinic. John is an experienced healthcare and technology
executive who has co-founded several successful start-ups as well as led mature divisions of several large organizations.
Prior to Trident, John was president and CEO of CliniComp International, a hospital Electronic Medical Records company.
Previously, he was an operating partner with JP Morgan Partners. As an Operating Partner with JPMP, John held interim operating roles or active board roles with nine portfolio companies, including: fusionOne, Tidal Software, Narus, Determine Software, Above-All Software, Call Vision and NinthHouse Network.
Before JPMP, John was Regional Vice-President of Strategic Planning and Business Development for the St. Joseph Health System in Northern California. In that role John acquired or started several business including hospitals, home services, physician networks, and related administrative companies. During that time, he was also the President of the St. Joseph Health Foundation, a managed care administrator and practice management company.
John was also the co-founder of Value Health Management, which was acquired by EDS in 1996, and Health Economics Corporation, which was acquired by Equifax in 1990.
John holds a B.S. in History and a B.S. in Economics from Arizona State University and an MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
